Add destinations

With a stream key

1. Open Settings → Destinations → Add destination.
2. Pick the platform and paste the stream key from that platform’s live dashboard.
3. For a custom RTMP service, also enter the server URL.

Keys are encrypted with your Mac’s keychain and hidden in logs.

Quality per destination

• Send as-is: no re-encode, best quality, lowest CPU.
• Re-encode (Solo+): choose resolution, bitrate and frame rate, for example 720p for a platform with a weaker audience connection.
• Vertical 9:16 (Solo+): centre-crops your picture for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. Compose Wirecast’s picture so the important part is in the middle.

Starting and stopping

Go Live opens the pre-flight sheet where you choose which destinations to start. You can also start or stop any single destination later from its card.

More platforms

Kick, TikTok Live, Instagram Live, X, LinkedIn Live, Amazon Live, Restream, Vimeo, Rumble, Trovo and Dailymotion are in the platform list. Restream, Vimeo and Trovo only need a stream key. For the others, paste the server URL and stream key from the platform’s live dashboard; the app shows where to find them. TikTok and Instagram work best with vertical output.
